The Mirror of Unpleasant Manifestations

We begin to realize our own helplessness, so we can endure the helplessness of other people. Now the Work says we must endure one another's unpleasant manifestations.

It is impossible to endure one another's unpleasant manifestations in the right sense of the meaning of the word unless we see our own unpleasant manifestations and know them and accept them. This destroys illusions about ourselves.
