Keeping the Point Alive
When the Work forms an emotional point in a person—it actually opens a part of a center—then that person begins to touch new influences. It is quite easy to know when this has happened. But to keep this point, you must follow and keep to the "truth" of the Work. You must apply it to yourself: and if you lose this point, for a time, you must seek for it again.
What are you too identified with? What are you internally considering? What are you lying about? What are you expending on pretence? Where are you justifying yourself? When did you last remember yourself? When have you last made any effort? What has happened to your aim? How many things have you put in front of the Work? When did you last observe yourself attentively and go over your mind? When did you last view yourself over the past few days?
